Where the jobs come from
Every listing is read directly from the employer's own career site or applicant tracking system, such as Workday, Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters, Ashby, or Lever. The employers are the companies of the S&P 500, nothing else. No job boards, no aggregators, no paid placements, and no third party can post anything here. If the employer did not publish it, it cannot appear on this board.
What every job must pass
- Fully remote or virtual only. Evidence comes from the employer's own remote type setting, the job title, the location field, or an explicit phrase in the posting itself.
- USA only. A posting whose location points anywhere else is dropped, whoever posted it.
- Full time, part time, or contract. No internships, no temporary or seasonal roles, and no hybrid schedules.
- Posted within the last 7 days. A posting with no trustworthy posted date never appears at all.
Field and territory roles
Some employers label field sales and territory roles as remote because the work is home based. When a posting states travel of 40 percent or more, or names a field or territory role, it is not shown in the main list. It sits behind the travel-required switch, which is off unless you turn it on, and it carries a label with the stated travel so you can judge it yourself.
What each card tells you
- Pay, exactly as the posting states it, because pay transparency laws make most large employers publish it. When a posting states no pay, the card says so instead of guessing.
- Where the worker may live, taken from the posting's locations and its residency wording. When the posting does not say, the card says that too.
- When we first saw the job, and when the board last verified it.
Daily verification
An automated run rereads every employer board each morning before the board updates. A job that has vanished from its employer's board is removed from this site in the same update, and no job stays longer than 7 days past its posted date in any case.
If an employer's board could not be read on a given morning, that employer's jobs keep their previous verification time on the card rather than pretending to be freshly checked. That is what the Verified line on each card is for: it is a promise about what was actually done, not a decoration.
Why ghost jobs do not survive here
Ghost jobs live on boards where listings are cheap to leave up: no posted dates, no verification, and postings that sit for months. Here every job carries a posted date within the last 7 days, a first seen date, and a verification time, and every card links straight to the employer's own posting, never to a middleman page.
Limits we are honest about
- Work-from states and pay come from the posting text. We show what the employer stated and mark what it did not.
- The board covers S&P 500 employers only. That is the point: a short, verifiable list of large public companies rather than everything at once.
- A few employers' career systems block automated reading. Those companies appear here only once their boards can be read politely and honestly.
